Koei Tecmo announced at the Tokyo Game Show that the newest update for Hyrule Warriors (or Zelda Musou as known in Japan) will add Cia, Volga, and Wizzro as playable characters. The trio of villains will be unlocked when the update launches on September 30th for the Japanese version of the game. Players will also have the option to turn off enemy appearance cutscenes during Adventure Mode with the latest update.

Additionally, Koei Tecmo also revealed that Hyrule Warriors will be receiving four downloadable content packs in the coming months. Check them out below:

  • Ura Zelda Musou Pack: October 16, 2014. 1200 yen. Includes one new weapon, a new scenario, an Adventure Map Pack, and two costumes.
  • Twilight Princess Pack: Late November 2014. 1200 yen. Includes one new character, one new weapon, an Adventure Map Pack, and two costumes.
  • Majora’s Mask Pack: January 2015. 1200 yen. Includes two new characters, an Adventure Map Pack, and three costumes.
  • Ganon Pack: February 2015. 500 yen. Includes two new game modes.

Starting on September 30th, all four downloadable packs will be available to pre-order at a discount by purchasing the “All-in-One Discount Pack”. Those who pre-order will immediately receive a Dark Link costume.

Hyrule Warriors is scheduled to release in North America on September 26. Check out the new set of screenshots below:
