Acquire released today a batch of new screenshots and accompanying info about Gladiator Vs, that will be released in the west by NIS America on PS3, Xbox 360 and PC with the title Clan of Champions.

The new assets show some of the weapons abailable in the game, and some of the fighting styles that the gladiators will be able to use to defeat their opponents in the arena.

The weapons introduced today are:

  • Broadsword: a large straight blade to be used with two hands, it can break through armor and cause almost as much damage as an axe.
  • Grim Shythe: used by the warrior-priests of the ancient kingdom, it’s still extremely sharp due to the magic used to forge it, that didn’t degrade with time.
  • Double Axe: there are many kinds of battle axes, with one or two edges, they can deal massive damage and cut through multiple enemies.

There are also three fighting styles.:

  • Sword and Shield Style: ┬ádefensive style that uses a sword to attack and a shield to block, two of it’s peculiar attacks are the Jump Thrust and the Slide Cutter.
  • Single Sword Style: offensive style that uses a single sword, relinquishing the defense of the shield. Two of it’s attacks are the Twister and the Whirlwind.
  • Hand to Hand Style: balanced martial arts that uses kicks and punches. The hands are covered by Cesti or Gauntlets. Two attacks introduced today are the Headbutt and the Double High Kick.
You can see the weapons and styles mentioned above in the gallery below.
