David Jaffe (creator of Twisted Metal and the God of War Series) and Zack Norman (creator of Interstate 76), have teamed up together to help indie developer Pixelbionic create and publish a new vehicular combat game. MotorGun is currently seeking backers on Kickstarter and so far has reached $22,601 of the $650,000 goal (this is only the games first funding day).

Pixelbionic calls the development team a “Dream Team”, and MotorGun is attempting to create Mad Max meets Interstate 76/Twisted Metal. Yes, you heard that right. A post-apocalyptic vehicular combat game. ┬áThe game promises a deep customization tool, and focuses on team based goal oriented gameplay. Game modes include Convoy, Capture the Flag, and Salvage.

The funding date ends August 16th, so if you want to sink your teeth into in what sounds like an amazing vehicular combat game for PC pledge today. For now, enjoy this concept art, screenshots, and reveal/development trailer.
