New Luigi's Mansion: Dark Moon TV Commercial is a Blast from the Past

By Giuseppe Nelva

February 23, 2013

According to Nintendo this is the year of Luigi, and things seem to be kicking off in a rather classic way with Luigi’s Mansion: Dark Moon that will hit the shelves worldwide next month.

The publisher released a new TV commercial of the game, that brings a lot of flavor back from the Nintendo commercials of the nineties. Personally I’ve never been a big fan of Luigi, or of any mustached plumber of fake Italian descent, but those that remember the GameCube original should feel right at home.

You can enjoy it below. Thankfully no Italian accent has been abused (excessively) in making the video.

Hailing from sunny (not as much as people think) Italy and long standing gamer since the age of Mattel Intellivision and Sinclair ZX Spectrum. Definitely a multi-platform gamer, he still holds the old dear PC nearest to his heart, while not disregarding any console on the market. RPGs (of any nationality) and MMORPGs are his daily bread, but he enjoys almost every other genre, prominently racing simulators, action and sandbox games. He is also one of the few surviving fans of the flight simulator genre on Earth.
