New Mass Effect 3 Art Book Grants you DLC…Xbox 360 and PC Only

From now until February 20, Bioware and Barnes & Noble are handing out free DLC codes if you pre-order Dark Horse Comics’ The Art of Mass Effect Universe.  The DLC gets you a Collector Assault Rifle and a couple of character boosters for Mass Effect 3.

The Collector Assault Rifle is pretty badass as it uses organic parts and shoots pellets that “strip shields of enemies with deadly efficiency.” For those that pre-ordered the art book, you will receive the code via email before March 8. The book is 184-pages long and gives you a “behind-the scenes” glimpse into the game and some cool concept art based on the Mass Effect universe. Unfortunately for PS3 owners, this deal is only exclusive to PC and Xbox 360 owners.

The art book is set to release on February 21 while the highly-anticipated Mass Effect 3 releases on March 6. It’s not that big of a loss for PS3 owners but that gun sure sounds nice. Barnes and Noble have the book listed for $26.91.
