New Mindjack Trailer is Mindblowing, Shows Off Instant Multiplayer

Here’s a new trailer from Square-Enix’s ambitious upcoming shooter, Mindjack, that highlights how the “instant multiplayer” mechanic works in the game.  While the game looks pretty vanilla on its own, what puts Mindjack on my radar is the ability to instantly hop in and out of someone’s single player campaign game and play as one of the many NPCs.

How this’ll affect the actual narrative being told in the campaign, I don’t know, and I’m sure there’s going to be someone that completely breaks the game a week after it comes out, but it still looks like it’s worth checking out.

Mindjack will be available in the US on January 18 for both the XBOX 360 and the Playstation 3.
