EA released the slide below ahead of its earnings call yesterday, the slide gives us an early 2016 release window for the anticipated Mirror's Edge follow up, but it also revealed that a whole new Plants vs Zombies game would be released in the same window for consoles and PC.

During the conference call EA's CEO Andrew Wilson gave some more details on what the new game would entail,

After Plants vs. Zombies: Garden Warfare became a sensation last year with console players young and old, we will be returning to the Plants vs. Zombies universe with a bigger and bolder new console experience in FY16 that we'll share more about at E3

Whether that means it will be another shooter like Garden Warfare, or something else entirely, we'll have to wait until EA's press conference on June 15th to hear more.

Either way though, it looks like sometime between January 1st and March 31st 2016 we'll be seeing both the new Mirror's Edge, and a new Plants vs Zombies.
