Capcom Just released a large batch of screenshots and information about the new cover monster of Monster Hunter 4, the black dragon Goa Magara.

The mysterious monster is very rare. It doesn’t have eyes, but when its sensing ability reaches its maximum extent, new sensory organs protrude from its head and its body (especially the wings) changes color. That’s when it’s most dangerous and can unleash its powerful and explosive breath attack.

It has a restraining attack with which it can grab a hunter with the strong claws attached to its wings. Its leg slam can shake the ground with destructive power, and it also has a rush attack with which he can charge the unfortunate hunters in front of him, dealing massive damage.

Below you can check out a gallery showing the dangerous wyrm. I can definitely say that the Goa Magara jumped right at the top of my favorite Monster Hunter critters, if anything for its imposing looks.
