NetherRealm Studios revealed a new trailer of Mortal Kombat X, featuring the recently announced Raiden.

The new trailer, which is basically the debut trailer showcased at San Diego Comic-con with the additional narration by Creative Director Ed Boon, explains that Raiden (like all characters in the game) has different fighting styles, each with different offensive and defensive advantages.

In the video below you can enjoy the three variations which will be available in Raiden’s arsenal: “Thunder God,” “Displacer” and “Storm Lord.”

The Thunder God style enhances Raiden’s lightning, enabling longer combos and raising his damage output. The Dsplacer variation gives him a teleport to raise his mobility. Finally, the Storm Lord variant involves the creation of lightning traps, enhancing the protector or Earthrealm’s ability to control the battlefield.

He is also one of the few surviving fans of the flight simulator genre on Earth.
