New Ni No Kuni II Trailers Showcase the City of Broadleaf and Higgledies

Ni No Kuni II: Revenant Kingdom goes from majestic to cutesy in a couple of very different trailers released today by Bandai Namco Entertainment.

March 20, 2018

Level-5’s massively-anticipated JRPG Ni No Kuni II: Revenant Kingdom is getting dangerously close to its release (at least, it’s dangerous for our social life), and Bandai Namco Entertainment released not one, but two trailers today.

The first is the usual flythrough tour of one of the cities that we’ll be able to visit in the game. This time around it’s Broadleaf, which definitely pushes the concept of treehouse to the next level.

The second video focuses on the Higgledies, which are those super-cute elemental spirits that help Evan through his quest for kingship. They’re basically Ni No Kuni‘s own Pokémon, but they are better team players.

You can check them out in the videos below. If you’re unfamiliar with the game, you can enjoy our review, and see if it wets your appetite. You can also check out the launch trailer from yesterday.

Ni no Kuni II: Revenant Kingdom will release this Friday, March 23rd, on PS4 and PC.

Giuseppe Nelva

Hailing from sunny (not as much as people think) Italy and long standing gamer since the age of Mattel Intellivision and Sinclair ZX Spectrum. Definitely a multi-platform gamer, he still holds the old dear PC nearest to his heart, while not disregarding any console on the market. RPGs (of any nationality) and MMORPGs are his daily bread, but he enjoys almost every other genre, prominently racing simulators, action and sandbox games. He is also one of the few surviving fans of the flight simulator genre on Earth.
