New Ninja Gaiden-Related Project Is Not A New Video Game

By Giuseppe Nelva

June 28, 2016

This morning, Ninja Gaiden composer Keiji Yamagishi announced the coming of a “new project” related to Ninja Gaiden. Today he clarified that announcement, mentioning that the new project is not a new game.

While I’m definitely ready for a new Ninja Gaiden name (as long as it’s an actual Ninja Gaiden, and not a sub-par spin-off excessively inspired by western design), the clarification isn’t too surprising, considering that, as we mentioned in our previous post, Yamagishi-san is a composer, and a new game would probably be announced by the development studio or by the publisher.

That said, we’ll stand-by and see what this is all about, and keep you posted.

He is also one of the few surviving fans of the flight simulator genre on Earth.
