Following a year of change for Nintendo as the company transitions between presidents and is preparing for its long-rumored “NX” console, the future of the company may be a little bit clearer shortly as a new Nintendo Direct broadcast has been officially announced by the company for this week.
Nintendo revealed that a new Nintendo Direct broadcast will officially be airing on Thursday, November 12th, 2015 starting at 2pm PT, with the latest broadcast to provide updates on upcoming Wii U and 3DS releases from the company in the coming year. Nintendo’s website for the broadcast, however, specifically detailed that no information on either the NX or its upcoming mobile titles will be revealed during the broadcast.
Following the passing of company president Satoru Iwata earlier this year, this broadcast marks the first Nintendo Direct that the company has had since Iwata’s death in July, and though he will surely be missed as the host of the Direct broadcasts for many years, it will be a welcome return for one of Nintendo’s key (and most fun) ways of showing what’s to come from the company.
The next Nintendo Direct broadcast on upcoming Wii U and 3DS releases is scheduled to air on Thursday, November 12th, 2015 at 2pm PT.
