With October out the door and November just coming in, Thanksgiving is rapidly approaching and along with it are mass quantities of food, mass quantities of family, and mass quantities of people gathering for the annual Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade in New York City: luckily, this time there will be a few new faces in the crowd (of balloons).

In a press release it was detailed that this year’s 88th Annual Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade will feature a brand new Pikachu balloon in time for the holidays with an adorable scarf and winterized Pikachu snowman, marking a new look for Pikachu’s 15th year in the parade.

In addition, this year’s parade will also feature a brand new balloon of Eruptor from theĀ Skylanders series, marking the first time that the series has graced the streets of New York City in balloon form.

The 88th Annual Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade will take place in New York City on Thursday, November 27th, 2014, which you can catch in person on the streets of NYC or watch on TV from the broadcasted event.
