Capcom on November 18 announced a delay for its brand new game Pragmata, which is now coming to PS5, Xbox Series X/S, and PC in 2023 instead of 2022. More importantly, a new key visual and trailer were shared, teasing some new lore.

Capcom first announced Pragmata at the PS5 “Future of Gaming” showcase on June 11, 2020. Back then, a mysterious cinematic trailer was shared, and nothing else was shared about the game since, besides short development updates stating the game is making progress.

Pragmata unsurprisingly delayed to 2023, development update trailer

Capcom announced the delay via the Pragmata Twitter account, which also shared a new development update for the project. Check out the trailer below.

The development update reads: "Our team is hard at work on the project, but to ensure this will be an unforgettable adventure, we've decided to shift the release window to 2023. In the meantime, we have a brand new artwork to share with you. Thank you for your patience."

New key visual, lore hints

The new key visual features the words "1:1" "GDLIIATNCAH" and "myosotis", giving a lot of new food for thought to those trying to figure out what the game will entail. Pragmata has already been jokingly nicknamed "Capcom's Death Stranding" by fans with how weird the first trailer was, and many are trying to figure out what the game will actually be about. Capcom only stated it's an action-adventure game.

Myosotis is a flower that means “mouse's ear” in Greek, and its flower language signification is "true love and respect". It's nothing unusual for Japanese games to use flower names in their lore. See Sword Art Online Aliciation Lycoris DLC "Myosotis".

Meanwhile "Gdliiatncah" is obviously a made-up word for Pragmata's lore, and seeing the "1:1" scale above, that must be the little girl's name, who's some kind of robot.
