The new model of the PS4, belonging CUH-1200 series, has been released today in Japan, but it's having a rolling start, with many retailers apparently waiting to run out of their stock of CUH-1100 series SKUs before carrying the new one.

That said, there are already a few that sell the CUH-1200ab01 (Jet Black) and CUH-1200ab02 (glacier white), both with 500 gigabytes hard disk drives. Here are those we could find.

There are quite a few already available on Yahoo Auctions as well.

Other major retailers, including Sony's own store, Amazon, Edion, Softmap and Bic Camera, still don't have the CUH-1200 series available, listing only the CUH-1100. Yet, if you live in Japan, and want a new PS4 that weighs less, consumes less energy and isn't a fingerprint magnet, now you know where to find it.

The CUH-1200 series will be released in the west as well, but it didn't yet appear for sale at any retailer.
