tri-Ace and Spike Chunsoft officially unveiled their new JRPG Exist Archive: The Other Side of The Skyscheduled for release in Japan this year. The latest issue of Weekly Famitsu had a large feature showcasing the first screenshots and artwork of the game.

We get to meeet four of the twelve the protagonists, Kanata, Ranze, Mayura and Tokihisa. The game is set in Tokyo and on another planet named Protolexia. The protagonists harness the power of a “false god” named Yamatoga, who killed them, but actually caused tho become immortal. They can unleash it with devastating effects.

In battle each character (up to four at the same time) is assigned to one of the face button, and the order of attack is crucial to the outcome, even in terms of rewards. It’ll take up to fifty hours to complete the title.

You can check out the screenshots and artwork below, alongside the official logo. You can also listen to a musical track on the new teaser site (the full site will open on August 3rd). As usual, remember that we’re looking at magazine scans, so the quality isn’t as high as direct feed screenshots.
