Sega announced today that the new Yakuza Game for PS4 and PS3 teased a while ago is titled Ryu Ga Gotoku Zero: Chikai no Basho (Yakuza Zero: The Oath’s Place).

No more information was given besides the new logo that appeared on the teaser website. You can check it out above.

The publisher promised detailed information at Tokyo Game Show, and the title definitely seems to indicate the possibillity of a prequel, even if we can’t know for sure.

It was previously revealed that the game would not be another spin-off like Yakuza Ishin, but a prequel is definitely possible. Unfortunately we’ll have to wait for Tokyo Game Show in September in order to know.

He is also one of the few surviving fans of the flight simulator genre on Earth.
