New Rally Point Episode Shares Significant Info on Total War: Rome II Campaign

If you wanted to know more about the campaign of Total War: Rome II, today is your day, as the new episode of Creative Assembly’s Rally Point is one of the most interesting of the series.

After a few antics with the card game and the model onager included in the collector’s edition of the game, we get Al Bickham giving us juicy info on the campaign map and on how armies will work. Relevant points like recruitment and progression (in the form of Traditions that can be acquired and carried on through time, victories and even defeats) are also covered.

You can check out the episode below, and weigh in on your preference between the old unit-based system and the new army based system. I do think the new one has potential in streamlining the most cumbersome elements of recruitment and micromanagement without dumbing down the game, but that’s just my educated guess for now.
