New Rayman Trailer Ventures Into the Belly of the Beast. Literally.

How do you escape the bowels of one of the fiercest beasts in folklore? By giving him a bad case of heartburn.

Ubisoft today released the latest trailer for Nov. 15’s Rayman Origins. The one-minute clip takes place inside a dragon. Sticking true to the cooperative multiplayer mechanic that’s all the craze right now, up to three players can join Rayman on his latest Rabbid-free adventure. But although the mini-game-happy cretins are missing from this adventure, the trailer shows us the game retains the weirdness the series is known for.

Rayman and his pals will face off against the evil Darktoons as they attempt to take over the Glade of Dreams. Series creator Michel Ancel is once again at the helm. Pre-ordering Origins at GameStop also gets you a free download code for Ancel’s other celebrated masterpiece, Beyond Good & Evil.

Origins is also in development for the 3DS and iOS platforms. We’ll keep you posted as we learn the news. Check out the new trailer after the jump.
