New Resident Evil CG Movie Revealed for 2017 Release

Revealed on the official Sega Japan Twitter account today was an announcement for a new Resident Evil CG movie coming in 2017:

The executive producer of the film is Takashi Shimizu (creator of Ju-On or The Grudge), with director Takanori Tsujimoto, music by Kenji Kawai, writer Fukami Makoto and the CG animation studio is MARZA, a studio that has worked on many other video game CG films in the past.

Leon Kennedy, Chris Redfield and Rebecca Chambers will be starring in this adaptation. At this time not much more has been revealed but you can still check out the official site here and the teaser picture posted below.
