New Saints Row IV Developer Diary Doesn't Ask Why, Just Why Not

Saints Row IV is so close to release: and with that insane, whacky, silly, over-the-top craziness waiting to be unleashed on the world comes the creators of Saints Row IV talking about their vision behind the game and why it should be fun for everyone.

In the developer diary “This is What Happens…” (which you can view below), Steve Jaros, the game’s creative director, specifically responds to trying to unite the divisive fans of Saints Row 2 and Saints Row The Third, an attempt to stop “Which Saints Row was better” arguments and create “one big Saints Row family.” You’ll also see commentary from the game’s voice actors, including Troy Baker, Laura Bailey, Daniel Dae Kim and Terry Crews, as well as Jim Boone, the game’s senior producer.

If you can’t wait to get a taste of the game, you can affect how your president will look right now with the Inauguration Station, and then load him or her up when Saints Row IV  releases on August 20th in North America and August 23rd in Europe to PS3, PC and Xbox 360. For more details, check out all of our Saints Row IV news.

Masoud House

Born and raised in video games and "geek culture," Masoud has been bred off of fantasy worlds his entire life and doesn't see anything wrong with that. He loves RPGs (especially TRPGs), sandbox games, the sci-fi genre, dieselpunk, art deco, and anything that allows him to create. Having graduated from John Jay College with a degree in English and a minor in Creative Writing, Masoud hopes to one day pen the same novels, comics, movies, and video games he enjoys escaping into when the real world gets too boring.
