Call me crazy, but if there’s one thing that makes me regret not living in Japan, that’s games based on the Gundam series. In the west we got only a small handful, and not nearly the best ones.

Between them the most fun are probably those belonging to the Super Robot Wars franchise and their spin-offs, likeĀ SD Gundam G-Generation Over World, that will be released on September the 27th for the PSP.

Today Namco Bandai released a new trailer that, besides letting us see quite a sizable amount of gameplay footage and cutscenes, drops some numbers about the game’s contents. It will include 950 Mobile Suits and 400 Characters from 61 different Gundam series, movies and OVAs. Talk about a franchise with history and about a whole lot of fanservice.

You can check out the trailer below for some Gundam overload.
