Today Rare released a new trailer of its upcoming shared world adventure game Sea of Thieves.

The video stars Senior Designers Shelley and Andrew Preston as they show off the cooperative gameplay mechanics that prompt a crew to work together in many aspects of the game, including something as simple as finding the right right route for the ship, or digging up a treasure chest.

We also get just a tad of competitive, as we see how a rival crew member can just ambush the player carrying the chest and go cash in that sweet gold himself. What a troll.

Sea of Thieves is currently undergoing a sequence of alpha testing phases, and is scheduled to be released sometime this year for Xbox One and PC.

You can check out the trailer below, and if you want to see more, there’s another recent one right here.
