New Sengoku Developer Interview and Dev Diary Dropped

By Justin Hutchison

Paradox’s latest strategy game, Sengoku, just got a developer interview and dev diary released, the former of which we’ve put up for your convenience. The game will focus on a nobleman establishing his own clan and using it to take over Sengoku period Japan and become shogun. Seems like a familiar sort of gameplay system, but hopefully they’ll shake it up in a few ways, especially considering the release of Total War: Shogun 2, another very similar game. The dev diary seems to point out a few interesting ideas for the game, and the full document can be found at Paradox’s forums here.
