New Shadow of the Tomb Raider Video Talks Swimming, Traversal, and Wall-Running
Shadow of the Tomb Raider will include several methods of traversal for Lara, and Gameplay Director Daniel Drapeau talks about them.
Eidos Montreal and Square Enix released a brand new Shadow of the Tomb Raider video starring Gameplay Director Daniel Drapeau.
Drapeau talks about Lara’s ability to swim underwater freely, finding environments like small caverns of massive challenge tombs. She is also able to traverse the canopies of trees, and wall-run.
Interestingly, the video also showcases concept artwork showing Lara in action as she explores the underwater depths.
You can check the video out below. If you want to learn more about gameplay, you can enjoy DualShockers’ own preview. You can also check out another recent video, and one from the same series released a few days ago, alongside a second clip, a third one, a fourth which is particularly interesting, as it provides a look at machinery and puzzles. We also got the fifth video on lighting, a sixth about visual effects, and the most recent one from yesterday about enemy AI.
Shadow of the Tomb Raider will release on September 14th for PC, PS4, and Xbox One. If you want to reserve a copy of the game, you can currently pre-order it on Amazon.
