Today Sega released a brand new trailer of the upcoming Shenmue I & II remaster.

The trailer focuses mostly on story cutscenes, and it’s all about the game’s narrative, starting from the first game when protagonist Ryo Hazuki decides to exact revenge on the murderers of his father.

We also hear about the second game, as Ryo travels to China to continue his epic adventure.

You can check out the trailer below. If you want to see more about the game, you can watch the previous trailer that showcased a comparison between the game and the real Yokosuka, the one which announced the release date and the first promotional video. You can also check out a few 1080p screenshots showing the improved image quality.

Of course, we’re also eagerly waiting for the continuation of the story in Shenmue III, of which we recently got the first gameplay screenshot.

On top of Xbox One, Shenmue I & II will release on PS4, Xbox One, and PC, on August 21st.

If you’d like to reserve a physical copy of the game, it can already be pre-ordered on Amazon.
