New Shin Megami Tensei IV Screenshots Emerge, Now Featuring More English

By Kenneth Richardson

May 6, 2013

A big batch of new Shin Megami Tensei IV screenshots has been released. These are the first screens of the game to feature English text. Various characters discuss a mysterious rite, dreams and a journey in these shots. There are also screens from what appears to be one of the game’s anime cutscenes. I’m not huge on the character design here, but the art is sharp and crisp and the backgrounds look pretty detailed. I’m curious to know what’s going on with all of the robed individuals.

We’ll be able to discover the game’s story in full when Shin Megami Tensei IV launches in North America for the Nintendo 3DS on July 16th. A European release for the game has been confirmed, although there is no confirmed release window. Scroll down to check out the new screenshots.
