If you're a fan of The Sims 4, you're probably used to headlines like this. They usually come after any big patch, update or DLC are added to the game, and almost always, are just as hilarious. If you're not used to this, then welcome, and you read that headline right. The latest update to The Sims 4 has added a bug that results in flames where pee should be whenever your Sims have to relieve themselves.

The update which introduced this bug released June 3 and brought with it plenty of other intentional gameplay features. Namely, a now extremely important Firefighter NPC has been added, right on time to put out the ensuing toilet fires.

All joking aside, this update brought a ton of new content with it. Players will now receive itemized bills for their households, and if they fall behind on payments, a visit from the new Repo Person NPC is in their future. The Sims 4 now also has another long-requested feature - ladders. They can be accessed in build mode and can be placed anywhere, much like stairs. If you're looking for more and better ways to build your house, you'll also find that this latest update allows free placement of doors and windows. The days of hassling with finicky grids to get your bay windows just where you want them are finally over.

Of course, the list of additions to The Sims 4 goes on. For a full list of patch notes from the third, click this link. If you don't have The Sims 4 yet because you don't want to use EA's proprietary launcher, Origin, you may be in luck. EA is bringing EA Access to Steam, along with a slew of its older titles. However, whether or not The Sims 4 will also be making its way over to Steam is not clear.
