New Skyrim Screens: Orcs, Khajiit and Dragons - Oh My!

Bethesda released a new batch of screens for their upcoming continuation of The Elder Scrolls franchise, Skyrim, today. What’s noticeable about these are the orcs and what I can only assume are the khajiit, a race of cat-like humanoids any fans of the games will know well. The improvement in the visual presentation and models of these two races in particular is quite stunning. Take the orcs from Oblivion, for example. To me their skin looked way too plastic and fake to take seriously. Although I was quite a fan of the khajiit myself, this new “look” for that race is making me like them even more. That means you’ll certainly see a khajiit rogue-like character in my future.

Hit the break to take a look at the rest of the shots, which include a couple environment shots, a town and a dragon. The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim is due out this November for all platforms.
