Today Sony announced that they will be releasing a new, updated and sexier Bluetooth headset for the PS3. What is different about this one, besides the design? It has dual microphones, easily accessible mute button and a charging cradle which allows it to double as a desktop mic. Sony also claims it's the "only device to offer High-Quality (HQ) mode which delivers crystal clear voice chat while gaming on the PS3."

This new mic is also 30% smaller than the original, so it might get lost in your ear canal somewhere. There really should be a warning label on the thing. There's also built-in noise cancellation, which the original model did not have. Naturally, this headset can be paired with the PS3, as well as your mobile phone that supports Bluetooth 1.1 or higher devices.
