The latest Splinter Cell: Blacklist trailer shows off the unique features of the Wii U version, specifically how the GamePad works with the game and controls certain gadgets. Splinter Cell: Blacklist will be coming to PS3, Xbox 360, PC and Wii U for North America on August 20th.

The GamePad shows the player’s inventory of weapons and gadgets, which allows you select said items of choice by simply tapping the corresponding symbol. Using the Pad, you can also toggle between Lethal and Non-lethal takedowns, which determines whether you kill or knock out the enemy. You can use the Snake Cam in a unique way by watching the video feed through the GamePad. This method also lets you tag each enemy in the room, which results in cleaner knock outs/kills. The Sonar goggles work in the same way (watch the enemies and tag them with the GamePad). Naturally the Tri-rotor is controlled by the GamePad, through tilting and turning motions.

The gadgets, controls and weapons seem to compliment the Wii U GamePad quite well. Check out the video posted below to see the entire stealth mission in action.
