SDCC 11: New Street Fighter X Tekken Trailer Confirms Four New Characters

Capcom has rolled out a new trailer for Street Fighter X Tekken from the San Diego Comic-Con. The trailer confirms a whopping four new characters and at least one of them is very surprising. Boxer Steve Fox enters the fray, hailing from Tekken 4, and looks like he’d make an admirable rival for SF characters Dudley and Balrog. Also confirmed is the rumored Dhalsim from SFII, with his irritating stretching limbs and teleports.

Tekken series staple and oddball Yoshimitsu brings along his outlandish fighting style and techniques. The most shocking addition is certainly Poison. I’ve never seen this character playable before, but she’s best known as Hugo’s partner, Hugo being a character from Street Fighter III. Poison looks like she’ll be a formidable addition with her very interesting looking technique. Check all of the new characters out in the trailer after the break. Street Fighter X Tekken will be available on HD consoles in March of next year.
