New Studio “Strange New Things” Formed by Ex Witcher 3 and Hitman Devs

Ex-developers from AAA games like The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt, Dying Light, Hitman, Dead Island, Call of Juarez, and more have announced they have teamed up to form a new studio in in Wroclaw, Poland called Strange New Things.

On the developer’s new official website, the studio says it is comprised of “developers that wanted more.” Further, that it is creating ambitious games, with a formal structure of no hierarchy or predefined roles.

The studio is already working on its first project, but as of right now details on said project haven’t been divulged beyond the following blurb on the studio’s website:

“This is the project name of our upcoming game that will be about [BLANK], which is set in [BLANK], from the perspective [BLANK],” it states. “This project holds a special place in our heart. It tells the story of a particular moment in a particular time and place. That moment made a huge impact on [BLANK]. All will be revealed at the right time.”
