Footage has been captured of The Last of Us HBO stars, Joel, Ellie and Tess as they get into the swing of production.
Recently, some new images of Pedro Pascal as he got into the character of the beloved Joel on the Candian set surfaced that showed off the rugged survivor in between takes. Now, new footage has been unveiled that presents Tess, Ellie and Joel walking around the post-apocalyptic streets.
In the video taken by Keira Nystrom from her balcony, we see Ellie out in front of the group while Tess stays in the middle and a slightly nervous looking Joel staying back a little as he scans the area.
Although the footage is a little far away, you can clearly see how the production team have really done a great job in dressing Pedro Pascal (Joel), Bella Ramsey (Ellie) and Anna Torv (Tess) in exactly how they are from the 2013 Naughty Dog title. It's actually uncanny.
What's also pretty incredible is how the production design team have made the streets look just like you'd expect them to. Unkept and derelict is exactly the vibe you'd want for something set in this type of horrific environment.
In another recent Twitter post via The Last of Us Updates, Pedro Pascal and Bella Ramsey can clearly be seen getting their dance on as they take a breather between filming scenes. I'm sure due to the emotionally taxing and grim theme of the show, getting to have a little fun when they can is much needed.
Although we don't have a firm release date for HBO's The Last of Us, we do know that it should showcase next year at some stage. In the meantime, I'm sure fans will be treated to plenty more of these behind the scenes images and videos.
