In the latest Take-Two (parent company of Rockstar, 2K, etc.) Q4 and fiscal year earnings release,  CEO Strauss Zelnick talked about the upcoming slate of games the company has, and in the process teased that a new title from one 2K' biggest franchises is set to arrive sometime in fiscal 2019, aka between April 1, 2018 and March 31, 2019.

According to Zelnick, alongside upcoming releases in the NBA 2K series, WWE 2K series  (WWE 2K18 was confirmed and is coming in the fall), and of course the recently delayed Red Dead Redemption 2, "a new title from one of 2K's biggest franchises" is coming. Now, what exactly this title is, well that's anyone's best guess.

However, being described as one of its biggest franchises means it's likely one of two new games: a new Borderlands or a new BioShock.

Perhaps rather smartly -- before speculation took off -- Zelnick appears to have confirmed the title won't be showing up at E3, as the CEO notes the company won't have a huge presence at the annual trade show. Zelnick more specifically says:

"It will be an interesting year for us. We're not really showing products. We have a corporate presence at E3, and we're excited to be there. We'll be meeting with investors and meeting with the press naturally, and meeting with retail partners. I think it's an important show and it's important for the industry, and it's very important for us as the number three company in the space to be there."
