Today, the upcoming Devolver Digital published online melee action game Absolver received a new trailer focusing on the multiplayer element of the game. The video, which is nearly three minutes long, highlights the ways in which you can interact with other characters upon coming across them.

While Absolver is inherently a martial arts fighting game, today's trailer shows that you don't need to start throwing punches at everyone you run into within the world. In fact, there are many instances within this new video that exemplify why it would sometimes be smarter to team up with other characters rather than try to fight them.

One of the other cool portions of Absolver that is shown off in today's video deals with the mentor/student relationship that players can have with one another. If one player comes across another who is of higher level and skill, they can choose to follow that player and become their student. In the process, this student will gain all of the attacks and moves that the mentor has learned in their journey even if the student has yet to unlock those abilities for themselves.

Within recent weeks, we have seen a couple of other new videos for Absolver ranging from showing off how you can customize your character and another which displays the weapons and powers that you will have at your disposal in the game.

If you want to check out today's new trailer for yourself, then you can find it at the bottom of the page. Absolver is almost upon us and will release on August 29 for PS4 and PC. If you know that you will be picking Absolver up on launch day, you might as well pre-order the game as you can save 10% on its $29.99 price on each platform.
