The once Wii U-exclusive platformer Donkey Kong Country: Tropical Freeze is making its way to the Switch next Friday and as such, Nintendo has taken the opportunity to release a new trailer for the game.

Recently, Nintendo launched a new overview video for Donkey Kong Country: Tropical Freeze which details almost all of the selling points of the game. From gameplay showing off Donkey Kong and friends leaping around the game's levels, to showing off how co-op works thanks to the Switch's Joy-Con controllers, this video is a good summary of what those unfamiliar with Tropical Freeze can expect from it.

Additionally, we get some looks at the game's "New Funky Mode", which is one of the newest additions to the Switch release of Tropical Freeze. This portion of the video highlights Funky Kong and the unique abilities that you'll be able to utilize when playing as him in this all-new mode.

You can find the overview trailer for Donkey Kong Country: Tropical Freeze at the bottom of the page. The game is scheduled to release next week on May 4 and if you haven't pre-ordered it for yourself yet, you still have time to head over to Amazon and do so.
