New Trailer for Octodad: Dadliest Catch is Ridiculous and Amazing

It’s been awhile since we’ve heard anything about the sequel to Octodad, the game where you play as a loving father and husband who also happens to secretly be an octopus. Allen Park took a look at the original back in 2010 and loved it, and spoke to the development team about the sequel at GDC 2011. To that end, enter Octodad: Dadliest Catch.

This might be the first time I’ve ever seen a pun in the title for a game and thought it was brilliant. Check out a trailer for the sequel after the break. The game is currently scheduled for a 2013 release, but I’m fine with waiting. You can never have enough Octodad

John is what you might call something of a badass. When he's not writing about games or playing them, he's playing in the Kansas City band "Documentary" and drinking as many different beers as often as he can. He's a huge comic nerd in the best sense of the term, with a particular love for the Creator Owned movement.
