A New Transformers game was announced at Hasbro Pulse Con this past Friday. This game doesn't have an exact release date but is projected to be released in 2023.

This new game will be based on the upcoming animated series Transformers: Earthspark, but the full extent of the connection is currently unknown. This show also received a new trailer at Hasbro Con. This trailer is not currently available online but will probably be made more widely available soon before the series premiere. Earthspark will be released on November 11 on Paramount+.

No further information was made public about the new title, but with its release being next year, it's possible we'll learn more information on the game in the months to come.

With the game being influenced by Earthspark, there is also a good chance the show and game will have close ties, and watching the show will help lay the groundwork for the game to come. This show will be introducing new ideas to the Transformers' world. In previous stories, Transformers arrive on Earth from their home planet of Cybertron. Inversely, Earthspark will introduce a new generation of Transformers born here on Earth. How this change will affect the story will be seen in November.

Transformers Earthspark New Transformers

This new game is being developed by Outright Games, who also developed Transformers: Battleground. Battle Ground was released in October 2020 and was met with mixed reception, receiving a 68% on OpenCritic.

Battleground is a turn-based strategy game with slight inspiration from the XCOM series. Battleground also was the first Transformers game to be released after Activision's license for the franchise expired.

Outright Games specializes in family-friendly titles and is well known for its recent Paw Patrol series and game adaptation of Hotel Transylvania. It can be assumed that this new game will also follow the trend of being a family-friendly title.

This news follows the announcement of the Transformers' crossover Magic: The Gathering cards. A total of 15 cards were announced, which will be front and back, having the character in both robot and vehicle form. Of the 15 announced cards, only 6 of them have been revealed, including Starscream and Optimus Prime.
