After its release in February, the Kingdom Hearts VR Experience is getting a free update on July 25, 2019.

This new update adds the fan-favorite Olympus Coliseum world based on Hercules. Additionally, the update adds PlayStation Move Controller support. No word yet on any other worlds coming in the new update but there's plenty to choose from.

It should be noted that this technically isn't a full game. It's more of an "experience", as the name implies, that lets players witness key moments from the Kingdom Hearts series. That being said, there's some interactivity that lets players attack the heartless with Sora's Keyblade. If you want to relive iconic moments from the series, this VR Experience is a nice addition to the series.

With the release of Kingdom Hearts 3 in January, it's been a big year for Kingdom Hearts fans. The game got glowing reviews and become one of the best-selling games this year. Additionally, the game is set to have new DLC launch later this year, which includes new story content and boss battles. A new update was added to the game back in April which included a harder critical mode as well.

The free Kingdom Hearts VR Experience is available for free on the PlayStation Store now. The new update is set to launch on July 25. Kingdom Hearts 3 is available now for PlayStation 4 and Xbox One. For players that want to jump into the series for the first time, a Kingdom Hearts collection is available for the PlayStation 4 now. If there are any updates on the VR Experience and other Kingdom Hearts news, we'll be sure to let you know.
