Unfortunately, the update isn’t very sizable. The only thing that was added is the silhouette of two characters, possibly a female and a male, which you can see below sized up and made a bit more visible against a white background.
At the moment it’s quite hard to say much about those characters, besides the fact that one appears to be wearing a scarf while wielding a handgun. The other appears to be wearing a heavier or bulkier uniform.
Other than that, your guess is as good as mine, so feel free to speculate in the comments.
Another very interesting element was dropped casually by Sega in its official product Information page, that appears to indicate the platforms as “PC and Home Consoles.”
Valkyria Chronicles (portrayed at the top of the post) first launched in 2008 for PS3, earning widespread praise due to its tactical gameplay, its deep story, its likable characters, and its unique visuals. Sega then released two equels on PSP in 2010 and 2011, but unfortunately, they never localized the third game.
Afterwards, we also got two remasters of the first game fir PC and PS4, of which you can read my review.
Recently, they also launched a spin-off named Valkyria Revolution, belonging to a completely different genre, set in a different world. It ultimately failed to live up to the series legacy.
That being said, the series’ developers expressed the intention to continue the original series about a year ago.
