The ever-adorable Captain Toad will soon be making his way over to the 3DS and Switch when Captain Toad: Treasure Tracker early next month. To celebrate the nearing of release, Nintendo recently released a new video for Captain Toad: Treasure Tracker that shows off gameplay footage from both versions of the game.

Amongst the over three minutes of new footage, the most noteworthy gameplay that we see in this new video shows off some of the new locations that will be included in these ports of Treasure Tracker. If you didn't already know, new levels have been added to the game that feature some of the kingdoms from last year's release of Super Mario Odyssey. In this video, we get some quick looks at New Donk City, the Cascade Kingdom, and the delectable Luncheon Kingdom.

Best of all, at least for those in Europe and Japan, Nintendo has also now released a demo for Captain Toad: Treasure Tracker on both 3DS and Switch. Again though, this is currently only available in Europe and Japan regions. If we get word that it is coming to North America as well, we'll let you know.

If you aren't a resident of Europe, then be sure to catch the new overview trailer for Captain Toad at the bottom of the page while we wait to see if those of us stateside will also be receiving it. Even if the demo doesn't come to any other regions, then fear not, as the full arrival of Captain Toad: Treasure Tracker will be landing next month on July 13 for both 3DS and Switch.
