In Soviet Russia the War Thunder open beta plays you! Now that I got the obvious and cheap pun out of the way, let's get down to business.

Gaijin Entertainment launched the open beta of their World War II online combat flight simulator War Thunder: World of Planes, unfortunately only for the Russian audience for now. The global beta will remain closed for a bit longer, with the promise of a reward coming to the current closed beta testers once the global open beta will start.

With the announcement of the Russian open beta came a new trailer (in Russian), showing some lovely footage and listing some of the features of the game like 200 different aicrafts, 100 (non playable) ground units and 100,000 square kilometers of maps.

Having played the beta for a while, I can definitely tell that, if you like simulations and World War II planes, this is really a game   to watch. In the meanwhile you can watch the trailer below.
