Being a free update far after its initial release, Digital Extremes continues to add content for those who are still playing Warframe. It's called Beasts of the Sanctuary, and it even brings a shiny new Warframe to battle with onto the PS4 and Xbox One. PC Players already received this update back in April.

After being announced by Digital Extremes a few weeks ago, the Beasts of the Sanctuary is ready to download and play as of now. The content includes one some new weapons to stick in each other's faces, as well as the new Warframe, Khora, which comes with a Whipclaw ability. Her other skills are called Ensnare, Venari, and Strangledome, which sounds about as entertaining as it might be painful.

The new weaponry added are the Dartgun, Tenno Revolver Rifle, Quill Spear, Quill Syandana, Quill Alt Helmet, and the Zaw Parts. The new Sanctuary Onslaught mode is also available to play, giving players a chance and running away through portals while taking on hoards of enemies. Oh, and don't forget about the new Plague Star Event, which ends on May 21.

Warframe began as an open beta in 2013 and has grown quite considerably in population as a free-to-play third-person shooter.
