It looks like there's a brand new Warzone map leak going around on Twitter, but is it legit? We've got the tweets and images of the latest Warzone map leak that surfaced on April 5, 2021.

Many of the popular Call of Duty leakers, such as @ModernWarzone, claimed that the new Ural Mountains Warzone map may have been scrapped. Instead, players were going to receive a remodelled Verdansk set in the 1980s. Is that still true after the latest leak?

Warzone Nuke Event

Ever since Season 2 began on February 25, the leaks of a new nuke event have been constant. It all began when Zombies invaded Verdansk at the beginning of the new season, ever since there have been various easter eggs pointing to Verdansk being nuked in order to wipe out the zombies.

Audio files of the possible nuke event have been leaked and more recently a trailer showcasing parts of a new Warzone map was leaked too. Activision quickly took all footage down, but the damage was already done.

Leakers have also been going back and forth on if the new Warzone map would be a brand new location known as the Ural Mountains, or if it would be a remodelled Verdansk.

It was looking like the latter was more likely after reports began circulating that the Ural Mountains map had been scrapped. Footage from the leaked trailer showed a Verdansk set in the 1980s, which would match the theme of a Cold War style map for Treyarch's latest release.

But now after the latest Warzone map leak, could it in fact be the Ural Mountains we see when Season 3 kicks off on April 22?

New Warzone Map Leaks On Twitter

The debate between leakers continues after the newest leak looks to be the Ural Mountains and NOT a 1980s Verdansk. Check out the image of the new map below, first tweeted out by @LeakyPastimes and then made viral by @ZestyCODLeaks.

The new map has some new points of interests and some previously leaked ones such as Zoo. All of the new points of interest appear to be the following:

  • Battery
  • Sanatorium
  • Zoo
  • Ski Slopes
  • Weather Station
  • Chemical Labs
  • Mines
  • Buga
  • Ruka

The image is incredibly blurry, so some of the names may be slightly incorrect. But is the new map legit? Well, nobody will really know for sure until Season 3 kicks off on April 22 and all will finally be revealed.
