New Wasteland 2 Artwork Showcases a Rugged Ranger, Sets The Bar for In-game Portraits

Wasteland 2 Game Director Brian Fargo just posted on his twitter account a new and sweet piece of artwork (that you can see above) created for the game.

The artwork, depicting one of the Desert Rangers of Wasteland 2, has been drawn by Concept Artist Andrée Wallin. Fargo commented that it “sets the bar” for in-game portraits that will appear in the game.

While we still didn’t see any gameplay of the sequel of the classic RPG, we can definitely say that this kind of concept art gives us high hopes about the quality of its art direction.
