New Xbox Games Releasing This Week (September 5th – September 9th)

What's new on Xbox this week?

Another week, another round of new games coming to Xbox Series X|S and Xbox One, but what games are coming out this week?

The week starts out slow with Monday being a damp squib of nothingness, but for fans of action RPGs, Biomutant will be getting its native Xbox Series X|S release on Tuesday, bringing with it a whole host of improvements over the base Xbox One and Xbox One X versions. Expect more consistent performance, enhanced visuals, and higher resolutions to really make its colorful world pop.

An interesting addition to the Xbox library this week is Justice Sucks, a game in which you play as a killer robot vacuum machine. As if we needed any more reasons to fear our Alexa-powered automatic vacuums... Still, it's a novel concept and it looks like a good time, so even the vacuum-shy amongst us may find something to enjoy.

Obviously, many an allowance/pay packet will be dumped into NBA 2K23 on Friday, the latest entry in the annual basketball franchise which promises some big improvements over last year's outing. Will it survive the Twitter storm on release? Probably not.

And finally, a game for everybody: Disney Dreamlight Valley, a cute and whimsical life-sim/adventure game with some of Disney's best-known characters. Can't go wrong with a bit of Disney, can you?
