Newest Lost Planet 3 Trailer Offers Glimpse at Multiplayer

April 24, 2013

Capcom has released a new trailer for Spark Unlimited’s sequel to their successful science-fiction franchise, Lost Planet 3. Unlike previous trailers that have focused on the game’s single-player portion – of which most of the development’s attention seems to be focused – this one focuses entirely on the game’s multiplayer portion.

Depicted in the trailer are very run-of-the-mill third-person shooter action sequences, sprinkled with occasional involvement of the planet’s native lifeforms, and mechs. The ziplines and power-ups seen in the trailer are also reminiscent of those featured in other games.

Lost Planet 3 is being published for the PlayStation 3, Xbox 360, and PC on August 27th and 30th, 2013 in the United States and Europe, respectively. No Japanese launch date has been announced at this time.
