Newest Tablet S Update Lets You Navigate With the Dualshock 3 and Download PlayStation Games

Sony has recently updated the firmware on its S series of tablets to support the PlayStation 3’s Dualshock 3 controller. This firmware update has also enabled the tablets to connect to the PlayStation Network with access to the store and original PlayStation games.

Looks like the company is taking full advantage of the interconnectivity its devices are capable of. Likewise, Microsoft earlier this year updated its dashboard to mimic the experience of navigating a Windows Phone 7 and the upcoming Windows 8 operating system.

I can just imagine a Kevin Butler piece where he’s accompanied by Alec Baldwin as Jack Donaghy where the word “synergy” is thrown around more than in the¬†Funcooker” episode of 30 Rock. I’m laughing already!
