Newest Updates To Space Engineers Makes Worlds More Nuanced

If you’ve been following the many updates available in Keen Software House’s Space Engineers, then you’ll love the three newest updates, which add just a little more nuance to the world you can create and explore in the game. As you can see in the video below, the World Generator has been updated, along with functional doors, parameters for lights and drills, and all kinds of ore types available (but now under an asteroid’s surface).

For newcomers to the game, Space Engineers offers players freedom in designing space stations and spaceships as they see fit, through a lens of realism aided by a robust physics engine, a range of development tools, and encouraging players to test, fly and crash everything they build. Players are encouraged to check out the Space Engineers modding page for a little help with diving into the game’s sandbox tools.

Space Engineers is available on Steam Early Access for $14.99, which comes with some good perks for early adopters. For more trailers and details, check out more of DualShockers’ Space Engineers news.

Born and raised in video games and "geek culture," Masoud has been bred off of fantasy worlds his entire life and doesn't see anything wrong with that. He loves RPGs (especially TRPGs), sandbox games, the sci-fi genre, dieselpunk, art deco, and anything that allows him to create. Having graduated from John Jay College with a degree in English and a minor in Creative Writing, Masoud hopes to one day pen the same novels, comics, movies, and video games he enjoys escaping into when the real world gets too boring.
